Covid-19 safety protocols at high schools and colleges

We are extremely excited to welcome our students back for the new school year. We have outlined a few simple Covid-19 prevention and precaution rules to get every student and parent prepared for the year ahead:

1. Wear your mask on your way to school and keep your distance from others

2. Adhere to social distancing indicators

3. Every student’s temperature will be taken when entering the school’s premises

4. Every student will be required to sanitize their hands when entering the school’s premises

5. Posters with Covid-19 safety protocols are available throughout the school

6. Students are required to wear a mask at all times and must ensure to pack a spare mask

7. Wash your hands once every hour for at least 20 seconds

8. Sanitizer will be made available in each classroom

9. Avoid physical contact and adhere to social distancing parameters

10. Make sure to cough and sneeze into your elbow

11. Avoid touching your nose, mouth and eyes

12. Tissues and paper masks are to be disposed of in the bins provided

Class Setup

1. Class setups may have changed to provide for social distancing

2. Students are advised not to move their tables from the indicated spot

3. Students are advised to stay at their desks

4. The teacher will remain in front of the class in order to maintain a safe distance and to teach those following online

5. Ensure you wear a clean uniform each day

Change your behaviour

6. Don’t borrow or share stationery and books

7. Don’t share your lunch

8. Don’t walk in groups, keep your distance

9. Most importantly look after yourself and those around you

Back to school protocols

School for the 2021 Academic year. There are many safety protocols that have been put into place to protect every student from the spread of Covid-19. Moreover, students will have to adapt and change certain behaviors and practices in order to adhere to these safety protocols. This way each student plays a role in helping prevent the spread of Covid-19.
