Primary schools: prevention of Covid-19 tips

Covid19 is still a reality.  At Trinityhouse Schools our health and safety protocols were well tested in 2020 and we are confident that by following a few simple rules, we can keep each other safe in our school environment.

Explaining social distancing to kids does not have to be a difficult concept. Here are 6 simple steps that your little heroes can follow to help prevent the spread of the Coronavirus.

1.     Wear your mask

2.     Avoid touching your eyes, mouth and nose

3.     Always wash your hands properly with soap and water

4.     Do not stand too close to your friends

5.     Remember not to cough or sneeze into your hands but rather use your hero shoulder

6.     Do not share food, crayons or toys

Wearing a mask is cool but like all our doctors and nurses, superheroes and ninjas, your little ones must wear their mask correctly and take care of them too. Here are 8 simple mask care tips for kids:



1.     Wash your hands

2.     Make sure your mask is clean

3.     Hold the mask by the strings

4.     Cover your nose and mouth

5.     Don’t touch your face

6.     Wash hands before and after adjusting your mask

7.     Wash your mask after wearing it with soap and water

8.     If you can’t wash your mask immediately after use, store it in a bag until you can 

Wearing and taking care of your mask is vital in helping prevent the spread of Coronavirus.

Keep you and family safe from the spread of Coronavirus by following these simple steps on how to wear and take care of your mask:

1.     Wash your hands with soap and disinfectant before putting your mask on

2.     Hold your mask by the strings and do not touch the inside of your mask

3.     Make sure your mask covers your mouth and nose

4.     Make sure not to touch or fiddle with your mask throughout the day

5.     Wash your hands before and after adjusting your mask

6.     Wash your hands with soap and disinfectant before and after removing your mask

7.     Hold your mask by the strings when removing it

8.     Wash your mask with soap and water after wearing it and store it in a clean bag

9.     If you can’t wash your mask immediately after wearing it, store it a bag until you can
