Principal: Trinityhouse Tyger Valley Pre-Primary

Welcome to Trinityhouse Tyger Valley Pre-Primary, where we are passionate about nurturing the whole child within a secure, joyful and caring environment. Set on beautiful, expansive grounds, our school offers children meaningful opportunities to explore, discover and connect with the world around them through play and outdoor learning.

At the heart of our school is a dedicated team of compassionate educators who recognise and celebrate the individuality of every child. We are committed to supporting each student’s academic, emotional, social, physical and creative development while cultivating empathy, responsibility and respect for others and the natural world.

Our inclusive, holistic curriculum embraces future-focused educational practices that encourage children to be curious, confident and actively involved in their learning. Inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach and guided by a six-week inquiry cycle, our programme promotes creativity, exploration and a deeper understanding of the world through purposeful, child-centred experiences.

My journey at our school began in 2013 when I joined the Pre-Primary as a Grade 0 educator. My years in the classroom provided invaluable experience and deepened my understanding of child development, diverse learning styles and the importance of building strong relationships with children and their families.

It is a privilege to lead our vibrant school community as Principal. I look forward to welcoming your family to Trinityhouse Tyger Valley Pre-Primary and partnering with you as your child begins an exciting journey of learning, discovery and growth.

Learning Through Play

At Trinityhouse Tyger Valley Pre-Primary, we believe every child is capable, curious and filled with limitless creativity. Our nurturing, child-centred approach focuses on developing the whole child—academically, socially, emotionally, physically and spiritually.

Children learn through purposeful play, the most natural and meaningful way for young minds to explore and understand the world. Carefully designed classroom activities encourage discovery while introducing key concepts through inquiry-based learning.

Inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach, we recognise the environment as the “third teacher” and an important source of learning for our entire school community. Each thoughtfully created space encourages curiosity, independence, collaboration and creativity, providing a strong foundation for lifelong learning.
