At Trinityhouse High School, offering your child “An Education beyond Expectation” remains our top priority. To this end, over a number of years, we have been monitoring the global shift towards digital education. We have closely studied what other schools have been doing in this field. Our pragmatic approach was to ride the second wave of IT innovation in education, rather than merely rush into implementing untested waters as far as technology is concerned.
It has long been a dream of ours to implement an e-learning system that is not only educationally-sound but affordable and which provides maximum benefit to both pupils and teachers and our plan was to find a solution that would enhance and advance the teaching and learning that takes place at our school.
We are now ready to make our vision a reality and as of January 2017, our Grade 8, 9 and 10 pupils will pioneer this exciting venture!
We have no doubt that the educator-learner partnership which already exists at Trinityhouse is going to be enhanced even more as a result of our teachers being able to interact with the digital content and e-books by ‘pushing’ even more content such as images, videos, PDF documents and web links directly into pupils’ textbooks, alongside sections of work being taught in the classroom. Our pupils can thus gain access to personalised content, additional multimedia resources and curriculum-standard material in a single location. It is literally enrichment at one’s fingertips!
The sky is no longer the limit for Trinityhouse pupils.
