About Us

Trinityhouse Pre-Primary joined the Trinityhouse family in 2002. We started off with 4 classes and 96 children. Currently, we have 12 classes and 266 children between the ages of 3 and 6 years old. Children in the Pre-Primary can progress to the Preparatory and High School on the same premises.

The school has a Christian ethos and we value the unique richness of every individual child. Learning takes place in a loving, nurturing environment. We help young children to become happy, confident and competent. We do believe that good self esteem leads to spontaneous and experimental learning.

The children are taught to love each other and to respect each other’s differences. They are taught to be kind and considerate. Each child is encouraged to grow and to develop good life skills. The stimulating environment develops inquiring minds and the love for school and learning.

The school is committed to fostering strong communication and close co-operation with the parents. We encourage parent participation through various committees. We host annual events such as Grandparents' Day, Parent Information Evenings, Mother's Day, Father's Day, our concert, charity collections (SPCA, under-privileged children at Christmas time) etc. We invite guests to entertain and inform the children such as puppet shows, SA Guide Dogs, the Fire Brigade, the Mobile Zoo etc.

Our School Song

We laugh, we learn
We run, we play,
We shout, we whisper
When we pray.

We're building blocks of Africa
Under the sun
We're children of Trinity
Every one!

We grow taller when we smile
We grow taller we care
We grow taller when we hand out love
We grow taller when we share.

We're building blocks of Africa
Under the sun
We're children of Trinity
Every one!

We come together to listen
To what our teachers say
We know they work so hard for us
But they always let us play.

We're building blocks of Africa
Under the sun
We're children of Trinity
Every one.
