Grade 1 to Grade 7

At Trinityhouse Preparatory, we believe in nurturing young minds and fostering a love for learning. Trinityhouse High

Grade 8 to Grade 12

At Trinityhouse High, we believe in nurturing the minds of our students to prepare them for a successful future. In grades 8 and 9, we provide a holistic educational experience, introducing our students to a wide range of subjects to help them discover their passions and strengths. As they progress into grades 10 to 12, our students have the opportunity to choose subjects that align with their aspirations, culminating in the IEB examination in grade 12, which opens doors to tertiary education. We uphold high academic standards, ensuring that our students are well-equipped for various tertiary options. ADvLEARN is a groundbreaking digital learning platform developed in South Africa that provides personalised learning paths using adaptive technology to delivery data-driven insights and learning analytics. Currently ADvLEARN is used to enhance learning in Mathematics (Grade 7 to 12), Mathematical Literacy (Grade 10 – 12) and Physical Science (Grade 10 – 12). This approach to teaching and learning seeks to find the gaps in students’ learning and then fill in these gaps. Through adaptive technology, the system supports both students who wish to progress faster than their peers as well as students who require reinforcements of concepts already taught.

Academic support

 

Apart from imparting the curriculum, we provide academic assistance and enrichment opportunities to our students through well-structured support sessions and classes. Several Trinityhouse campuses also provide Foundation Phase bridging classes, which are designed to cater to students who may benefit from a more nurturing and remedial environment. These bridging classes aim to transition students back into their respective grade levels.

The primary objective of MAP Growth is to aid teachers in pinpointing both individual and collective learning gaps and then address these gaps effectively.

Respect Diversity and Inclusion (RDI)

Trinityhouse prides itself on being schools that reflect the diversity that lies at the heart of the South African society. Respect Diversity and Inclusivity (RDI) is a framework and programme that has been embedded in Trinityhouse Schools. The programme seeks to equip teachers and pupils with the language and skills to have conversations about RDI and to make needed changes and to be brave when discrimination or disrespect is encountered in a school and to replace these with respect, diversity, and inclusion.

Sport

We have a deep passion for sports. Our students experience the thrill of both individual and team-based sports, all within a framework of exceptional facilities and expert coaching. Many of our current and former students have proudly represented their schools at provincial and national levels in a variety of sports, including Athletics, Rugby, Netball, Hockey, Cricket, Chess, Cross-Country, Swimming, and Tennis.
