About us
Trinityhouse Schools began its journey in 1997 with a modest 242 students. Today, we are a vibrant community of Christian schools across Gauteng, united by a clear ambition – to be the leading traditional private school group in South Africa and offer families a trusted, values-led education.
A distinctive approach to education
At Trinityhouse Schools success is a shared experience. It is cultivated in the relationships between teachers and students, between learners and their peers and between our schools and the families we serve. We believe that great education happens when values and innovation meet, creating a space where every child is known, supported and inspired.
We create an environment where:
- Students flourish in a disciplined, safe, and caring space.
- Parents feel connected, informed and assured of their child’s path.
- Teachers feel free to live their faith and are empowered to guide, support and inspire their students.
Our Christian foundation
Trinityhouse Schools are anchored in an authentic Christian ethos. We don’t just talk about faith. It is lived through our values, actions and daily life. Every aspect of school life, from academics to sport and service, reflects our belief in nurturing character alongside competence.
Preparing for future success
As the world rapidly changes, we are preparing your children for careers that don’t exist yet, technologies that are still being developed and challenges that have yet to emerge. From mentorship to future-focused learning, we equip our students with the tools to succeed, not just in exams, but also in life.

“At Trinityhouse Schools, our unwavering dedication to holistic education, encompassing academics, sports, culture and community outreach, empowers students with the knowledge and skills needed for future success.”
The schools of Trinityhouse

Trinityhouse Pre-Primary
Grade 0000 to Grade 0 (R)
We provide a nurturing environment where your child can thrive. Drawing inspiration from the Reggio Emilia approach, our curriculum values each child's unique perspective and fosters a love for learning. Through play-based learning and strong foundations in literacy and numeracy, we encourage creativity, problem-solving and social development. Early literacy and numeracy are crucial for a child's cognitive and emotional development, setting a strong foundation for future academic success.
Trinityhouse Preparatory
Grade 1 to Grade 7
We foster a love for learning, a sense of responsibility and the skills to collaborate effectively. Our curriculum emphasizes not only reading for meaning and excelling in mathematics but also encourages Inquiry-Based Learning (IBL). This stimulates curiosity and builds critical thinking. To further enhance education and prepare students for the ever-evolving world, we are tech-enabled and integrate modern tools into the classroom.

Trinityhouse High
Grade 8 to Grade 12
Our students enter high school with a broad exposure to subjects and are encouraged to explore their strengths. In the senior years, they choose tailored academic pathways that prepare them for the IEB examinations and tertiary study. We uphold high academic standards and our curriculum is designed to ensure academic excellence and essential global competencies. With smart technology in the classrooms and supportive teachers by their side, our students gain the confidence to lead in a digital world
Achieving academic excellence

We have a simple goal: to help your child become a capable, confident young adult that’s ready to lead with integrity in this fast-changing world.
This is achieved through:
- Individualised learning plans powered by AI and international benchmarking
- Rigorous assessment and meaningful feedback
- Strong discipline and student accountability to ensure that every child receives the support required to reach their full potential.
Academic Strategic Priorities

Empowered teachers. Supported students
At the heart of our schools are a team of highly engaged, deeply principled educators. They serve not just as teachers but as mentors and role models, shaping our students with care and purpose.
Our teachers:
- Embrace continual learning and professional growth
- Set and uphold high standards in classroom practice
- Celebrate diversity, inclusivity and encourage individuality
- Model the values of our Christian faith
Every Trinityhouse educator possesses the necessary qualifications and experience, holds registration with the South African Council of Educators, and undergoes a thorough interview and vetting procedure before being appointed. We invest in their success, knowing that empowered teachers shape empowered students.

Technology as Enabler
We see technology as a tool for personalisation and progress and not as a replacement for relationship-driven education. Platforms like ADvLEARN and Microsoft Teams help us tailor learning to each student, identify gaps and reinforce mastery.
This is data-driven instruction with a human heart as it uses insights to support growth, guide interventions and continuously raise the bar.

Global Citizenship
ADvLEARN is a groundbreaking digital learning platform developed in South Africa that provides personalised learning paths using adaptive technology to delivery data-driven insights and learning analytics. Currently ADvLEARN is used to enhance learning in Mathematics (Grade 7 to 12), Mathematical Literacy (Grade 10 – 12) and Physical Science (Grade 10 – 12). This approach to teaching and learning seeks to find the gaps in students’ learning and then fill in these gaps. Through adaptive technology, the system supports both students who wish to progress faster than their peers as well as students who require reinforcements of concepts already taught.

Data Driven Instruction

- Continual Improvement

Beyond the classroom
Learning at Trinityhouse extends beyond the curriculum. Our compulsory extra-curricular programme fosters teamwork, discipline and leadership. Whether on the field, on stage or in service to others, your child learns what it means to show up, work hard and grow as part of a team.
Many campuses also offer Foundation Phase bridging classes to support students who need a gentler start — ensuring that no child is left behind on their educational journey.
*To inquire about the availability of bridging classes, please get in touch with your nearest Trinityhouse school.
Other platforms that are utilised include the following:
MAP Growth
MAP Growth is a leading assessment tool used from Grade 0 to Grade 11 to track progress in mathematics, reading and language. It provides teachers with clear, actionable insights such as whether students are ahead or need extra support, and enables targeted teaching that meets learners where they are.
Backed by data from over 13 million students worldwide, MAP Growth helps identify and close learning gaps effectively.
ADvLEARN
ADvLEARN is an innovative digital platform that uses adaptive technology to personalise learning in mathematics, mathematical literacy and physical science (Grades 7–12). It identifies individual learning gaps and tailors content to meet each student’s needs. Whether they need reinforcement or wish to advance more quickly, this tool empowers them to succeed at their own pace.
Microsoft Insights
Microsoft Insights transforms personalised learning by giving educators real-time data on student engagement, participation and performance. These insights help tailor teaching to individual needs, while students can track their progress and receive targeted recommendations. It’s a powerful tool that supports a more adaptive and effective learning experience.
Respect Diversity and Inclusion (RDI)
Trinityhouse reflects the rich diversity of South African society. Our RDI programme equips teachers and students with the language, skills and courage to address discrimination. It also fosters a culture of respect, inclusion and positive change across our schools.

Where passion meets performance
At Trinityhouse, we believe learning goes beyond the classroom. That’s why we offer a dynamic range of extracurricular activities, with sport playing a key role. From athletics, netball and hockey to rugby, cricket, swimming and chess, we help our students to thrive in both team and individual sports. Guided by expert coaches and supported by top facilities, they build resilience, confidence and camaraderie.
Many represent us at provincial and national levels, while teachers actively coach and mentor teams. This deepens connections and raises school spirit. At Trinityhouse, sport is more than competition. It’s about character, teamwork and creating a lasting love for an active lifestyle.
Creativity takes centre stage
Arts and culture are alive at Trinityhouse. Our cultural programme includes drama, music, debating and public speaking. It’s where creativity thrives, giving every child the chance to shine, express themselves and build confidence that lasts a lifetime. Through plays, performances, Eisteddfods and competitions, students can find their voice, refine their skills and shine in their own spotlight. Participation is at the heart of it all, because creativity grows when everyone gets a chance to step on stage.

Hearts in action
At Trinityhouse, we believe that giving back shapes who we become. Our Outreach Programme connects students to causes greater than themselves. Through hands-on projects, meaningful donations and purposeful community service, your child will enjoy experiences that foster empathy, generosity and a deep sense of social responsibility. By offering their time, energy and talents, your child can discover the true value of kindness, and the impact one person can have when they choose to care.
